Christmas Pajamas

Aidan: We have pajamas and they are awesome. I have trains. Ethan has fire and dragons. And I LOVE them. They are so awesome and pretty, WOW. Thanks Nana. Bye. Love you.

Ethan: It was really cool that we got pajamas. And I got fire with dragons. And Aidan got trains, but not Thomas trains. It's just so cool. They fit a little bit big but I'm going to grow into them.

Making Cookies for Santa

Ethan: They are sugar cookies.  We did the cookie cutters ourselves, and we also frosted the cookies ourselves.  And it was fun.  And I frosted I think 13.

Gingerbread Houses

Ethan:  My gingerbread house was yummy.  I liked it.  I made it at 1st grade.  I like 1st grade.

First Day of Preschool

Preschool was fun today. It was so fun. I learned that we could do things at school and that we can play at school. So, it was so fun. For a snack we had frosting, put the frosting on the apples, and put the marshmallows on the frosting, and then eat it. That sounds good, huh Mama. It does sound good.

You put sand in this thing and it dumps sand and it goes around and around and around. And there's another one too. It has two (an outside toy).

My teacher said we can't run in preschool, just walk. I didn't run, but some boys did.

There's this paint thing where you squeeze it and the paint comes up and then you put it on paper and there's these sponges where you stick your thumb in the sponge and put it on the paper.

First Day of 1st Grade

First grade was fun. I had three recesses. They were long. I played a fun Star Wars game. I had chicken nuggets and green beans, and chocolate milk and some kind of juice drink/orange tangerine, it didn't taste very good. A few friends brang lunches, like Jack. I sat by Jack at lunch. It was fun.

We went everywhere in the school, except for the teachers' classes. The library, gym (P.E.), into the cafeteria before we ate lunch. We also went to music just to see it.

We watched a little show about books. We read one.

I have homework. I have to write my name and mom has to write about how I got my name.

My favorite part of the whole day was the cafeteria.

It seemed like a half day of regular kindergarten. My bus stop was the first bus stop, so I guess I'm always going to be first! I'm on bus 77. Jack is on 89. That is the least favorite part of the day.

I like first grade. Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes.

Ethan Did It!

The Salt Lake Bees

Aidan: The baseball game is really fun to watch. It was just so fun that I just wanted just a drink. We ated first, but we just ate cookies and we ate. We were finished and then we just watched the baseball game, and it was so fun. My favorite part was hitting the ball. I loved the hits. I just watched it. We got cotton candy, Ethan ate so much! The chicken was really cute. He was so silly (A mascot from California was a special visitor at the game; he was really funny.)Ethan: The chicken was really funny. My favorite part of the chicken was when he was throwing water balloons at the coach on the other team. And then he was coming along trying to get that guy wet and then all the baseball players on the other team threw lots and lots of water balloons at the chicken! Once the chicken was polishing the coach's shoes, and after that he was like, "Can I have some money for that." He was like, "I don't have any money." He was like, WHAT?!? Gegegege." And he kicked dirt on the coach's shoes.
The cookies were good. They were sugar cookies. And the baseball game was really fun. We got 2 points and the other guys got 2 points.Love, Ethan and Aidan

Swimming Lessons

I have done swimming lessons today, and I did most things in the water. And it was so fun. We blowed bubbles in the water, and last time I jumped into the water and it was a little bit better than the other one that was first. And I liked it! I did a back float, and we kicked our legs and we flapped our arms. I like my teacher.

The Fun Slip N Slide

Ethan: The Slip N slide was really, really fun. We got a Slip N Slide, and there's holes coming out of the Slip N Slide. The water was pretty cold. And guess how warm it has to be outside? 90 degrees. It got up to 90.2 yesterday. And it was still cold! There's a dog that is across the street from us and his name is Siggy. He came over and sniffed the Slip N Slide, and then it was silly because he was drinking the water that was flying up.
Aidan: We slided on the Slip N Slide. There was holes in it, and the water come in the holes and it got up high. And it was 90 degrees. We had fun. It was almost 90 degrees. We get to play the Slip N Slide and it WAS 90 degrees and we get to play the Slip N Slide again. It was so silly. We slided on it. The cold water was really, really, really cold. And we had fun on it!

He's Famous!

Aidan: Those condors are much fun. Funner than anyone except Ethan, Mama, Aidan, anybody. And the condors love anybody. They were big. They were not scary, but they were just funny. And I saw them in the telescope. There's condors on trees. And I like the condors on trees so so so so much.

Ethan: The condors are cool. Their wings are 9 feet long! The telescopes are really cool. We got to see the condors up close. They almost got extinct. There are only a few left in the world.

(On Saturday we went to see the California Condors flying overhead near Kolob Reservoir. They have a wing span of over 9 feet. Really, it was amazing to watch. We took a bunch of pictures. But one of the neatest parts was that the Salt Lake Tribune was there and interviewed us, and Ethan was in the paper! Click here to read the clip. Camping

Aidan: We had fun camping this week with Dada and Mama and Ethan because we love them so so much! And, we're going to do something right now. We're going to watch the silly blog post. And we're going to play something. We got hot marshmallows and we got fire so we could camp there. Because we love camping. We were playing and fishing with daddy's fishing rod and I did great. I cast it out and I got a fish! I really liked the fish so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so much. We goed in the tent and did silly, silly, silly, silly things and we loved the silly things because Dada did a video of it. And we really liked it so so much. And Ethan did wanted to do silly things too. And I wanted to do silly things too. And we did Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and I am a Child of God to Mama.
Ethan: We went camping and it's called Honeycomb Rocks. It's called that because it has lots of fun rocks to climb in and climb on, and lots of fun hikes. The smores were really good. And we found a climbing rock, it has little footsteps that you could climb up. It brings us to a place that you get on top of rocks. Aidan and me caught a fish. They were both rainbow trout. Aidan's was bigger, but not quite as fat. Mine was fatter, but he was a fighter!There were lots of lizards by the fire. And I guess they kind of like the fire. My rocks were really cool. One was black white black white black white, and the other one was like black white, then red on the bottom. The other one looked like a crystal with nothing in it, but then it cut off the top so it looked like a crystal.

Baby Animals

Aidan: I love the chickies and the sheep and I love everything. I held a baby chick and it was fun. I hold more baby chickies. They were yellow and brown and they were playing with each other and I love them so so much. I love the lambs and I love the doggies. We got to feed the lambs, it was so silly. Ethan: It was really cute. I got to hold chicks and they were cute. I wish we had to buy chickies. They sat quietly in my hand. I guess they really like me. They do move, their feet have little spikes on them. So I woudl rather hold their feathers. The lambs were cute. We got to feed them milk. It was cute. They were 5 days old! They were so cute. I just can't stop thinking about them. Bye.

My Birthday and Party

I had a birthday party with my friends. Their names are Jack, Thomas didn't come, Josh and Kade. What we did was played and opened presents and watched shorts on movies and decorate cupcakes. I got a Batman motorcycle that shoots things. And I got some sidewalk chalk and I got a Lego. It was really fun.

We got lemon cake for my birthday. It was yummmmmy! Daddy's friend Jeremy was here, and for lunch we went to Iceburg and I got chicken strips. It was really yummy. We played video games. What we had for dinner was potstickers. I was excited to be six years old.

Tennis Lessons

I had tennis lessons, and it's on Saturday. And they are really fun. I've only done it once. It's so cool. I learned how to swing the racket, and dropping the ball and catching it. It's really hard, but it's really fun.

My Birthday

Easter

Ethan: We had an Easter hunt on Saturday. It was at the library. There were tons of eggs, and they made cool creations with the eggs. And it was cool.
Easter Sunday was fun. Easter is about Jesus. Mom and Dad taught us that. I got Easter candy in my Easter basket.
Grandma Ruth was here from Friday night to Monday. We had a birthday party and we already got some early presents.
