Caymo the Toad

Ethan, Aidan and friends found a toad in the neighbors' window well.  They were SO excited.  They wanted to create a place for him to live, and catch beetles to feed him, and the whole idea was so exciting...

We told them the toad has been free for his whole life, and he would probably feel sad if he was captured and kept in captivity.  They let him go, with the assurance that we would keep an eye out for him, and maybe go look at frogs at the pet store soon.

Kaitlyn's Birthday

Yes, Kaitlyn's birthday was a month ago.  What can I say?  I'm a slacker.

She loves her new kitchen setup in the basement.  She loves to give us drinks of (pretend) water over and over and over.

 She was a natural with this scooter from day one.

 Eating her cake and ice cream.  She already holds her spoon the "proper" way.   Cutie.
