Kaitlyn's Easter Dress

I tried to take numerous pictures of Kaitlyn wearing her Easter dress today, but I could only get two types of pictures - her crying, or her eating Kix. She just wasn't happy today. These were the best two. In the first one, you have a great shot of her lower teeth.

Walking With a Little Help

Kaitlyn is so close to walking. She has taken one step, two different times, all by herself. And she really likes this toy:

Double Birthday Party

To make things a little easier on myself, I decided to do a birthday party for both boys at the same time. Ethan invited his two best friends, Gabe and Logan, and Aidan invited three people - Madelyn, Ashley and Eric (yes, that's two girls and a boy).I filled a bunch of plastic eggs with candy and hid half of them inside, half of them outside. They had a blast looking for all of the eggs.Then the boys opened presents. This is Ethan's best friend, Gabe. He is a week and a half older than Ethan (as you can tell, Ethan is just a little bit taller than him). They will both be baptized this weekend!
This is Aidan's best friend, Madelyn. I told them to say cheese and Madelyn pulled this pose. Such a cutie!
Then they all decorated cupcakes (no pictures, I was too busy helping them) and then time was up! Fun was had by all.

Soccer

Aidan decided he wanted to do soccer again this year. He is loving it!

Aidan's Birthday

Aidan's birthday was on the 14th. He got golf clubs (which he was so excited about). He keeps calling himself Tiger Squirrel Aidan Wimmer. Tiger, because he wants to be the next Tiger Woods. Squirrel, because when you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, he replies, "A squirrel."He also got a fishing pole.And, of course, he got his chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream.

Best Friends

Madelyn is over playing at our house with Aidan right now. I heard Aidan say, "You are my best friend." Awww! So I took a picture of the two of them together.

This is what happens every time I give Kaitlyn ANYTHING with texture (i.e. anything besides mush):




Right after I turned the camera off, I fed her a bite and she decided she was fed up with the chunky food, and she started gagging. So frustrating! (And so cute.)

Silly Girl

Kaitlyn spent 20 minutes last night making farting noises on the couch. However, she is a complete ham when she sees the camera, and I was only able to get a little bit on video:

Bunny Ears

I borrowed some bunny ears from a friend for the Enrichment birthday dinner last week. I tried to get a cute picture of Kaitlyn wearing them.

These pictures are cute, in a sad sort of way.


Once the ears were off, I finally got a smile from her. Can you see her two teeth?

Creative Problem Solving

Today Kaitlyn wore this cute outfit for the first time (we went to St. George and it was 75 degrees there, so we pulled out the spring/summerlike outfits). There was only one problem - she kept tripping over the shirt/dress, because it kept getting in the way of her knees.

Swimming at the Aquatic Center

The kids and I spent three hours at the new aquatic center yesterday. I didn't get any pictures of the fun activities and things to do at the pool, but believe me - the boys had a blast. After 2 1/2 hours, Ethan finally came to me and said, "I'm all done. I'm ready to go home." Aidan still wanted to stay, so we gave him 10 more minutes. He would have stayed ALL day if I would have let him.
Kaitlyn wasn't so sure what to think. She held on to me for dear life when I took her in the lazy river. The rest of the time, she just acted a bit - startled. Not scared, but not excited either. She finally fell asleep for about 1/2 hour on my shoulder (we went during her naptime).
