Rolling Over
I was just playing King's Corner with the boys, and Kaitlyn was laying on the floor. She rolled over, all by herself, to her stomach, played for a couple of minutes, and then rolled back over to her back. Both directions, all by herself. And she's only four months old! Wow!
I borrowed a Bumbo chair from my friend Jennifer. Since Kaitlyn is always trying to sit up, I figured I would see how she liked being able to sit up on her "own." (Don't you love those little toes?)

As you can see, she loves it. Unfortunately, I had to give it back to Jennifer after only four days because my boys decided they needed to sit in it whenever Kaitlyn wasn't sitting in it, and I didn't want them ruining a chair that doesn't belong to us.
Next time I go to St. George, I will have to purchase a Bumbo chair! (I read online that they sell them at Target.)

Jump Rope and Schedules
Yesterday we pulled out the jump ropes. The boys have had them for months and never played with them (I don't know why). They were obsessed! They spent at least an hour outside, trying to break their record of how many jumps they could do without stopping (Aidan is at eight, I believe, and Ethan is at 22). They were so excited, and I had to make them stop to come in and get ready for bed. Ethan took his to school today to jump at recess. He was so excited he decided to make a "schedule" for every day of the week...although he only had time to write one day's schedule down:
I don't know if you can read it. This is what it says:
Schedule for Monday
breakfest - 15 Mi
School - 7 hours
Jump rope - 30 Minutes
Playing Legos - 22 Minutes
Sleeping - 12 Hours
It sounds like his Monday schedule is set!!

Four Months
Today, Kaitlyn had her four month doctor's appointment.
Weight: 15.6 lbs (95%)
Height: 26 inches (greater than 95%)
Head circumference: 40 cm (50%)
They said I could start her on solid foods any time (but I don't think she's ready yet so I will hold off for a bit). I also talked to them about her head, how she's always looking toward the right and her head is a bit lopsided. They said it is a bit of a concern, and gave me a referral to a physical therapist in St. George to have it looked at. But they also suggested that I could try to be more diligent in trying to keep her looking to the left side. She also got three shots and took the oral rotavirus one.
I tried to take a picture just now but the camera battery is dead. She sure is a cutie though!

Aidan's First Day of Kindergarten
School was fun, and I really like it so much. And I play with my friends a little. And tomorrow we get to do pictures taken. And from school I got to do some things and I got this zero hero necklace. I made two books about Chester (a raccoon) who loves school. Mrs. Brunson is my teacher. Madalyn and Josh are my friends. Riding the bus is fun too. I sit by Ethan and Gabe (on the way to school), and Madalyn (on the way home).
Love,
Aidan
